“I still remember the very first time I witnessed Maury break down a scene. It was 2009 and I was sitting in his actor’s lab class surrounded by other classmates listening intently. Mouth agape I said “…..howwwww did you get all that information from just 4 lines?” and that was just one of many moments as to how Maury became my favorite teacher I’ve ever had. It’s what he does. The information he finds in scripts, the technical way he works, the knowledge and experience he has all work together to make him a truly wonderful teacher. He’s very skilled at taking what is there for anyone and refining it specifically for that person and I’m very grateful I’ve gotten to experience it firsthand.”
